Just another reminder to CHANGE YOUR CLOCKS!

Just another friendly reminder to change your clocks today by forwarding them one hour before you go to bed. Daylight Saving Time for 2014 starts tomorrow, March 9th.

Daylight Savings Already??!! Yep.

Crazy to think, but it's that time again. Daylight Saving Time. Time to spring your clocks forward one hour this coming weekend. So, before you go to bed on Saturday, March 8th, forward your clocks one hour.
If you happen to have a clock that syncs with the atomic clock, or a smart phone set to change for D.S.T., then you don't need to do a thing (except feel tired on Sunday morning from one less hour of sleep!)

Daylight Saving Time ENDS this weekend ~ Don't forget to FALL BACK

For most Americans, Daylight Saving Time ENDS this Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2 a.m. That means we "Fall Back" to standard time by turning our clocks back one hour. Of course, many of you, like me, will change your clocks on Saturday before you go to bed.

Because the federal government doesn't require U.S. states or territories to observe D.S.T., residents of Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands won't be changing their clocks.

Here's a great National Geographic article if you would like to know more about why and how D.S.T. started.

Open House THIS WEEKEND for this Quaint Cheyenne Canyon Home

OPEN HOUSE Sat. 10/5/2013 noon - 2 p.m. 1315 Cheyenne Blvd. Colo Spgs, CO 80906

Things to Do in Colorado Springs with your Kids

Now that July is here, summer is in FULL swing. If you have kids, you might be hearing "I'm bored!" or "I don't know what to do!" and that can make you as a parent want to pull your hair out!

I came across this site called My Kids Week and I love it. The website is: http://mykidsweek.com/ and you can find activities to do with your kids from Colorado Springs to Denver. You can look for free events or just any thing. From arts & crafts, sports, music, nature & science and more ~ what a helpful tool!

It's great to have some new ideas of places to go and things to do to keep summer boredom at bay. I hope you find this as helpful as I did.
